Behavioural difficulties

Patterns of behaviour that cause us difficulties relating to others and functioning in our day-to-day life can be very distressing and can lead to low self-esteem and social withdrawal.

From childhood we develop a variety of different behaviours and ways to cope with life. Unfortunately these much needed patterns and behaviours that helped us to survive and make it this far, can actually start to have negative effects in our adult lives.

Whether our behaviours started as coping mechanisms, or are as a result of having ADHD or Autism, certain behaviours can make it difficult to form relationships, isolate us, and attack or self-esteem.

In the counselling room, attempting to identify and understand the emotions behind these behaviours, is how we can attempt to manage their affects.

We can help with...

  • Addiction
  • Anger Management
  • OCD (Obsessive Compulsion Disorder)
  • Eating Disorders
  • Self Harm & Suicidal Ideation
  • Neurodiversity
